Eko Cards
A versatile Document Management System offering both the flexibility and the structure.
Situation
The CEO challenged the team to develop a versatile, “omnipotent” digital tool, inspired by the flexibility of MS Excel that’s capable of adapting to diverse and evolving client needs across various industries.
Task
A preliminary research identified Document Management as a persistent, daily friction point requiring a solution that could scale from simple notes to complex cross-departmental workflows.
Action
Instead of building rigid modules, we engineered a modular “Universal Card” system where users could change the card purpose through toggling its functional layers, and through data relationship feature allows a single card to evolve into a multi-departmental project management hub.
Result
We successfully create a functional Document Management System with the “Card” as the platform’s foundational unit, offering both flexibility and the structured power of a dedicated PM tool, meaning a tool that grows alongside client’s rising organizational complexity. Not to mention slim, as it uses a single component for multiple use cases.
